Making a Difference to Better Our Community
Marc Bennett
Class of 1988 and now Sedgwick County District Attorney is an example of a civic-minded elected official who is invested in public service to help others. Bennett is a graduate of Kansas State University and Washburn Law School. Bennett was elected District Attorney in 2013. He has worked diligently against human trafficking, and he filed the first Human Trafficking case under new state law in Kansas. Bennett serves on numerous Boards, including Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center, Sedgwick County Child Advocacy Center, Exploited and Missing Child Unity, and Comcare Community Partners. His selfless, tireless work to support victims is making a difference to better our community.
