Fall portrait picture retakes are scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday, October 24th. Any student who did not have his/her picture taken earlier will do so. If you purchased pictures earlier and did not like your child’s picture, simply send the packet back with your student to hand to the photographer and another packet will be issued with retakes.

October 23rd - 27th we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week with fun activities, themed days, and a food drive. All of our items donated during the food drive will be delivered to the Goddard Food Pantry. On the flyer you will notice a specific item each day, those are items the Food Pantry is needing at this time to support our community. Let’s have fun, learn what Red Ribbon stands for, and stock the Pantry.

Shout out to our awesome PTO for arranging to have Rent The Chef cater lunch on Thursday of Conferences. The Taco Bar was absolutely delicious!

A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to our Amazing parents and PTO for providing dinner during conferences on Wednesday. The crockpot soup and sandwich bar was so yummy!

The McConnel Airforce Base firemen came and visited our First Graders on 10-16-23. They discussed the importance of checking your smoke detector at home, having a safe meeting place outside and using the 911 number for emergencies only. Here are some photos from our visit.

Amelia Earhart Grandparent's Day! Enjoy a sweet treat with your student, take memorable photos, and visit our Book Fair!

Earhart Family, We are kicking off a fall fundraiser for the month of October and we need your help! Each classroom will work together and fill the calendar for October. If you want to purchase Day 1 - send in $1 and the form; Day 25 - send in $25, etc. The goal is for every class to completely fill their calendar, plus some extra! The highest earning class PER grade will receive a pizza party from PTO! Each class will also have a chance to earn a popcorn party if the class sells every day on the calendar! We will use the funds raised to help purchase walkie talkies for each classroom! This will help increase safety inside our school and classrooms! We appreciate your support! We're so excited Mrs. Hay is at Amelia Earhart Elementary School!

Earhart Families, We will host our Tailgate Party this coming Friday here at Earhart! Drive around back and join us on our Pavilion. We will be serving food starting at 5:30 and we will wrap things up around 6:30. Our HS Football team has a game at 7pm and you are welcome to buy tickets and enjoy the game! It is Homecoming, so a big crowd would be great! Buy your tickets in advance at gofan.co *If we have bad weather, we will move the event to the cafeteria* Thank you, PTO

Goddard Elementary Schools held their first SITE Council meeting at Oak Street Elementary. The topic was safety and security. Captain Phelps, a USD 265 SRO officer, talked about safety, procedures and support for all students across the district. Happy National IT Professional Day! Special Thank You's go out to Tyler, Micki and Taylor! They help serve Earhart Elementary by keeping over 500 student Chromebooks running, 60 teacher laptops, and deal with daily Technology tickets. Also, a huge Thank You goes to Valerie, Tara and Tegan for all your Tech help! We are blessed with the best !

Classes at Amelia Earhart recently participated in activities to celebrate Freedom Week and Constitution Day. In Kindergarten, students learned what it means to be patriotic, learned about the United States Constitution and created their own Classroom Constitution.

Earhart Families - We look forward to having you in the building to enjoy a lite breakfast with your student(s)! This event will take place over 3 days, from 7:30-8:20. If you have students in multiple grades, please pick one morning to attend. Earhart PTO Wednesday, September 27th - PreK & Kinder Thursday, September 28th - 1st & 2nd Friday, September 29th - 3rd & 4th

This week we are hosting a "No Seat Left Unfilled Week!" We'd like to have all of our students in attendance the rest of this week! After back to back 3 day weekends, we have had a significant number of students gone on our first day back to start the week! In order to keep students moving in the right direction, we need them here every day, so let's get this started tomorrow with 100% attendance! We know there are going to be days where students don't feel well or have appointments. On those days, if you could please be sure to call in to the office at 316-794-4080 to let us know your student will not be at school, we'd greatly appreciate it! See everyone tomorrow!
