The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office offers these tips for a fun and safe night.
Trick-or-treat in groups, and have young children walk with an adult
Carry a flashlight or glow stick, and wear reflective or light-colored costumes
Use sidewalks, cross at corners, and look both ways
Check all candy before eating it
Visit only well-lit homes, and never go inside a stranger’s house
Drivers, slow down and stay alert, because little ones will be out in the dark

9:15 AM — Doors Open / Check-In
You may enter and will check in through Raptor Visitor System (Photo ID or Drivers License Required). Once checked in, please wait in the gym until the parties begin.
*Room parents will be sent to classrooms as soon as the doors open and/or as soon as they arrive.*
9:45 AM — Classroom Parties Begin
10:30 AM — Classroom Parties End
10:40 AM (approximately) — Parade Begins!
10:50 AM — Parade Ends
Parents who would like to take their child home following the parade may do so by going to their child’s classroom, their teacher will have a sign-out sheet.

To help us maintain a safe and manageable environment for our students, we are limiting visitors up to two adults per student. Unfortunately, children who are not enrolled at Apollo Elementary will not be able to attend the classroom parties.

A big shout-out to these four amazing 4th grade students for showing us what it means to take initiative!
What started as an unprompted effort by Christian to help sweep and clean up the cafeteria after lunch has now inspired others to join in. These students saw something that needed to be done and simply stepped up to help—no prompting, no asking, just great character and teamwork.
We are so proud of the way they are taking ownership of their school and setting an example for others. Small acts of kindness and responsibility can make a BIG difference!
