The past few months, the Goddard Education Foundation (GEF) hit the road for our annual Staff Appreciation Tour, a district-wide "relay of GRATITUDE" designed to fuel the dedicated educators of Goddard Public Schools.
The tour, which visited every building in the District one-by-one, provided a warm start to the day for over 1,200 staff members. From bus drivers and building engineers to classroom teachers, nutrition staff, and administrators, every member of the #265Family was treated to a fresh Chick-fil-A breakfast sandwich and additional morning treats.
While the GEF coordinates the logistics, the Staff Appreciation Tour is a true testament to the strength of Goddard's business partners. At each stop, GEF partners were there to serve, offer a heartfelt "good morning," and show their GRATITUDE in a big way. The GEF wouldn't be able to provide this level of support without dedicated partners who understand that investing in our educators is an investment in our students' success.
The mission of the GEF is to Inspire Minds and Expand Possibilities, a goal that starts with supporting the educators who work directly with Goddard's 6,400 students. By providing these small but meaningful gestures, the GEF and its partners aim to reinforce a culture of appreciation and excellence that defines USD 265.
