September 8th is World Physical Therapy Day. We are celebrating our own Physical Therapist, Emily Tejano, today! She is always happy, willing to help, and very knowledgeable. We appreciate you and all that you do for our staff and students.

Happy Tiger Trait Tuesday! Every first Tuesday of the month we get to celebrate a positive trait, and this month happens to be Respect. We wear our Oak Street shirts with other Tiger gear to get in the mood, then we end the day with a drawing. This lucky group had their tickets drawn, and won a joke book. We should have 5 new comedians walking our halls now. Congrats and get ready to hear a few jokes!
A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at your school on 9/12/2024 to photograph your child's Fall pictures. The following link will allow parents to sign up to receive updates via email regarding their child's school portraits. These updates include promotions, additional deals and the ability to order more pictures at a later time. Welcome to the Goddard Education Foundation's Ticket-to-Ride Raffle Campaign! We’re thrilled to offer you a chance to support our students and win big! With each ticket you purchase—one ticket for $25 or a 5-pack of tickets for $100—you’re helping enhance education in our schools. Plus, $10 from every ticket can be designated to the USD 265 school of your choice, and 100% of the proceeds stay right here in our community.

A minimum of 4,000 tickets must be sold by the GEF for the First Prize Winner to choose from a 2024 Chevy Blazer EV ($50,470 MSRP), a $35,000 credit toward the purchase of any vehicle at a Don Hattan Dealership, or $25,000 in cash!
Tickets can be purchased between 10:00 a.m. on August 19th, 2024 and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, OR until all 8,000 tickets are sold. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase tickets. The raffle drawing will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24th, at 201 S. Main St. Goddard, KS 67052. This lucky group just won the Tiger Ticket Prize this week! They did a great job of using their tiger traits and earned at least one ticket to win. We will now see them playing Uno in the pool, while playing in the sprinklers or even in the bathtub with their new waterproof Uno game. Enjoy! Thanks for using your Tiger Traits!

Happy Monday! Ms. Renee Richards is joining us from the Mixed Abilities classroom for Motivational Monday. She has the sweetest pink shirt on for KG pink day that reminds us to Be Kind to Everyone. She talked about this message and how you never know what others are going through, and you may be able to help them by just being kind! So true for a school day as well as out in the neighborhood. Happy 2nd Friday of the school year. Welcome back to our Friday Tiger Ticket Drawings! The kids waited patiently for two weeks for the first drawing, so we just had to reward them with a double drawing. We drew two names per grade for a total of 10 lucky winners. Good work Tigers on showing your tiger traits and earning at least one ticket. This week the winners are walking away with a set of 22 Mr. Sketch Scented markers. The cherry seems to be a favorite with the root beer coming in second place. Enjoy!
