Oak Street PTO's Skate Night is TONIGHT!! 6:00 PM-9:00 PM Location: 312 N. West Street *NEW this year! Online Tickets are available for sale on our website (www.carouselks.com). Pizza Party Details -First hour of the party, students will be tallied as they arrive by classroom/homeroom -Half way through the party, the class with the highest attendance will be served pizza and pop courtesy of Carousel. 20% of the proceeds will be donated back to the OAK Street PTO.
Our school custodians work tirelessly to ensure our learning environment is clean, safe, and comfortable. They start their day long before the first bell rings and continue working long after the last student has gone home. Their dedication and hard work make a significant difference in our school community. We are grateful for Fawna's, Dee's and Dane's commitment to keeping our school a positive and welcoming place for everyone.
Is it already the end of Tuesday this week? Crazy! We enjoyed a wonderful Tiger Trait Tuesday learning about the specific trait Responsibility. We celebrated and had a fun drawing at the end of the day! These were the lucky winners that have earned at least one ticket this week, and then they won a fun How to Draw book. We can't wait to see how creative they feel now! Good work being responsible and showing your traits already this week.

Monday, October 14 and Tuesday, October 15, the PTO will be sponsoring Donuts with Dear Ones in the Oak Street Cafeteria from 8:00-8:45 AM. All students are invited to pick one special person to join them for a donut and juice. Monday, October 14 is open to students with last names beginning with the letter A-L and Tuesday, October 15 is open to students with last names beginning with the letter M-Z. The book fair will also be open during this event. IF you are planning on attending this event, you must complete the Google Form by using the following link by Thursday, October 10th at noon. If you do not compete the form, you will need to wait in the office until everyone else that has completed it is checked in. This new policy ensures the safety and security of all of our students and staff members. Thank you!

What a beautiful Monday morning! Mrs. Condray, our new 4th grade teacher, is posing for our Motivational Monday feature. Her cute shirt reminds us that Every Day is a Fresh Start. She loves this reminders for her students and the staff. We get to take all the learning mistakes from the day before, put them in the past, and move forward.
