Oak Street Spring Parties will be held on Friday, February 14th from 1:30-2:30 in your child’s classroom. For the safety and security of staff and students, each person planning to attend MUST sign up. The link will be turned off on Wednesday, February 12th at 4:30. If you do not sign up in advance, you will need to wait until everyone that did sign up has been checked in. Please check your email for the link.

Pizza Party Details:
The first hour of the party, students will be tallied as they arrive by classroom/homeroom and half way through the party, the class with the highest attendance will be served pizza and pop courtesy of Carousel
A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at OAK Street on 2/18/2025 to photograph your child's spring pictures as well as classroom pictures. Order forms will be coming home soon or you can log on to Strawbridge.net and use the code FM452439 for individual photos or FM456970 for classroom group photos.

Ms. Buresh is an excellent school counselor, and we are beyond lucky to have her at Oak Street. February 3rd through the 7th is Appreciation week to honor our hard working counselors in Goddard. Ms. Buresh is definitely hard working, but she is also selfless, caring and understanding. She is a person that staff and students can count on to be a knowledgeable support in our building. Thank you for helping make so many day to day experiences at Oak enjoyable. We appreciate you!

What a fun five days we have had collecting tiger tickets. These students have been showing great traits right and left in order to win a 3-D printed item from the tiger ticket drawing. These prizes were created by a thoughtful second grade student. This student volunteered to make items for the drawing as well as for his entire second grade class. What a generous treat! Thank you for the gifts for your fellow Oak Street students. They were amazed!

Student of the Month winners were announced today for the month of December. These kiddos demonstrated empathy. Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. It's a crucial social skill that helps kids build strong relationships and navigate the world with kindness and compassion. These students noticed when someone was upset and offered comfort or asked how someone was feeling. Congratulations to these Oak Street Tigers for always showing kindness and caring.

I spot some great Oak Street Tigers! This group did an incredible job earning tiger tickets, and then getting those tickets into the drawing. They won an Animal Themed Spot it game. Such a fun game to play with family and friends. Enjoy!
