There has been lots of excitement this week from the third grade concert to our Spirit Week to cheer on the Chiefs. These four winners getting drawn for the tiger ticket drawing just added to the fun. Good work on earning tickets! Our KG student is absent, but we will get a picture of her next week with her hard earned prize. Have an amazing 4 day weekend. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!

Today we had a lot going on from Traylor dress up to our Tiger Trait Tuesday that focused on Honesty. If we can go ahead and be honest, it was an absolute blast today. So many fun positives, silly pictures and great conversations. Then ending the day with a Tiger Ticket Drawing, well that was icing on the cake. Congratulations to all our winners! We will have another set of students drawn before the weekend on Thursday!
Oak Street Spring Parties will be held on Friday, February 14th from 1:30-2:30 in your child’s classroom. For the safety and security of staff and students, each person planning to attend MUST sign up. The link will be turned off on Wednesday, February 12th at 4:30. Ms. Buresh is an excellent school counselor, and we are beyond lucky to have her at Oak Street. February 3rd through the 7th is Appreciation week to honor our hard working counselors in Goddard. Ms. Buresh is definitely hard working, but she is also selfless, caring and understanding. She is a person that staff and students can count on to be a knowledgeable support in our building. Thank you for helping make so many day to day experiences at Oak enjoyable. We appreciate you!

What a fun five days we have had collecting tiger tickets. These students have been showing great traits right and left in order to win a 3-D printed item from the tiger ticket drawing. These prizes were created by a thoughtful second grade student. This student volunteered to make items for the drawing as well as for his entire second grade class. What a generous treat! Thank you for the gifts for your fellow Oak Street students. They were amazed!
